NHL Says Saturday Is Decision Day

The NHL says it will announce the length of Shawn Thornton's suspension on Saturday. The Bruins winger had his in-person hearing with league officials Friday to explain his side of the story when he attacked Pittsburgh's Brooks Orpik.

Thornton has already sat out three games since the incident. While he has never been suspended before, Thornton is likely to get somewhere around a 10 game suspension according to many hockey experts.
