NL Home Run Leader Played In SR League WS

Philadelphia Phillies slugger Domonic Brown now leads the National League with 18 home runs. When he played at Mansfield Stadium in Bangor as a 16-year-old, he was best known as a pitcher.

Brown is on a remarkable power streak - 10 home runs in his last 12 games. His 18 homers lead the NL. He's got 44 RBI and is hitting .284.

Back in 2004, Brown's Dade City, Florida  USA South region Senior League World Series team went 3-1 in pool play in Bangor before losing in the semi-finals.

Brown pitched three complete games(7 innings) including an 8-4 win over the Bangor East/West team that was the host team in the tournament in 2004.
