The Dexter Tigers used patience and passing to frustrate the Lee Academy defense and leave the Cross Insurance Center with a quarterfinal win Tuesday night.

No. 5 Dexter (15-5) was deliberate on offense, moving the ball and looking for open shots while No. 4 Lee Academy (14-5) spent much of the game chasing the Tigers' front court around the perimeter.

After three quarters, Dexter built a 47-29 lead, before Lee started to chip away early in the fourth quarter, at one point cutting the lead to nine points on a few Tiger turnovers.  But Dexter was able to regroup and seal the deal with free throws on the way to a 58-45 win.

For the Tigers senior forward Jason Campbell finished 24 points, including 10-for-10 from the free-throw line. Brayden Miller added 16  points.

For the Pandas, Tony Chu had 16 points.
