No Offense = No Win For Bears [VIDEO]

In what has turned into a weekly theme, the University of Maine Football team once again played good defense but once again failed to score points in a 10-7 loss to Towson.

The Bears have now lost 3 of their last four games an in those three losses have only scored a combined 20 points as they drop to 3-6 overall and 3-3 in the conference.

Maine was only able to come up with 291 total yards of offense and were 1 for 3 in the red zone. Turnovers were also costly as the Bears fumbled the ball away to the Tigers twice in the game. Quarterback Drew Belcher made his second start in as many weeks and finished the night with just 150 yards passing while rushing for another 68.

Not only is the offense having problems getting the ball in the end zone, the kicking woes continue for Sean Decloux who missed a 22 yard chip shot and is now 11 for 18 on the season.

The Bears will try to rebound for their final home game as they host Elon Saturday afternoon.
