Notes From Pats Camp

After missing the off-season and first week of training camp, wide receiver Julian Edleman returned to the practice field on Thursday.Edelman missed the last four regular season games and the playoffs after fracturing his foot in a game against Miami.

Brady and Peyton Manning become teammates. The two told NFL insider Peter King they teamed up for a round of gold just before camp started. Taking on a couple businessmen in a best ball round they found themselves trailing after 16 holes. Brady and Manning then birdied 17 and 18 to pull out the win. Manning called it one of their biggest victories.

The team released DB Stephon Morris and signed four other players including two wide receivers.

Former Patriots coach Bill Parcells gets inducted into the Pro Football Hall-of-Fame this weekend. Bill Belichick was asked to give his thoughts about Parcells  and said “Personally, I value his friendship and have a lot of respect for him as a person, and as a football coach/football person. It’s not just coaching. It’s beyond that with him.”
