Oceanside Wears Down Witches [HS SCORES]

The Oceanside Mariners outscored the Brewer Witches 29 to 15 in the second half and got their fifth victory of the season Tuesday night, 44-33.

The win puts the Mariners at 5-1. The Witches falls to 3-2.

Neither team shot well in the first half, hence an 18-15 score and a Brewer lead.

The Mariners warmed up in the third quarter. Michael Norton hit two field goals. Cooper Wirkala and Sam Atwood hit three-pointers to give Oceanside a nine point lead after three.

The Witches could not come back in the fourth. No Brewer player reached double-digit scoring.

Norton led the Mariners with 10.
