The undefeated Old Town Coyotes won a pitchers duel against Ellsworth picking up a 1-0 win and improving to 13-0 on the season.Old Town's Eric Hoogterp struck out 11 Eagles while scattering 6 hits. Ellsworth's Conor Maguire allowed just 3 hits and struck out 8.The 1 run he gave up was unearned.

Old Town scored the lone run in the top of the 3rd inning when Troy Crawford reached on an error and stole 2nd base. He advanced to 3rd base on Tyler Byther's ground out to shortstop and scored on Hoogterp's single.

At 13-0 Old Toen is the only undefeated baseball team in Eastern Maine. The Coyotes travel to MDI to take on the Trojans on Saturday at 12 Noon.

Ellsworth is 7-5 and will play Washington Academy in  Machias Friday at 4:30
