The Old Town boys and the Hampden girls claim PVC-Large School track and field championships on Saturday.

The Old Town boys scored 126.5 points. Bangor was second with 87 and MDI was third with 87. OT's Nick Boutin was named outstanding performer. He won the 100M dash, the 200M dash and was part of the winning 4 x 100M relay team.

The Hampden girls scored the win with 145 points. Bangor was second with 124 and Caribou was third with 102. The outstanding performer award went to Hampden's Krystal Grant. She won the 200M dash, the 300M hurdles and was part of the 4 x 400M winning relay team.

Old Town's Rod White (boys) and Hampden's Dave King (girls) were named PVC coaches of the year.

The meet was held at Old Town HS.
