An Old Town man with a history of robbing banks is charged for two more. The suspect in both robberies wore dark clothing, gloves, and a mask.

Penobscot County Sheriff's Chief Deputy Troy Morton says Troy Gay, age 26, is accused of robbing the Corinth branch of Camden National Bank in March, and the Orono branch of Bangor Savings Bank just over a month later. No weapon was displayed in either robbery.

Gay has served time for bank robbery in the past . In 2009, he was convicted of robbing two other banks and was sentenced to 8 years in prison with all but 3 1/2 years suspended.

Police continue to investigate whether Gay was involved with robberies at Key Bank in Ellsworth in February and at Maine Savings Federal Credit Union in April. The suspect in those robberies wore clothing similar to the suspect in the Corinth and Orono robberies.

Gay was in court on Friday and pleaded not guilty.
