Old Town Meets Foxcroft On 92.9 The Ticket [SCHEDULE]

The high school football playoffs resume tonight with the start of the semifinal round. The Coyotes were idle last week as the number one seed while the Ponies went on the road and beat number four seed Madison 21-14 in overtime. Old Town (8-0) will bring a balanced offensive attack that features senior wide receiver Andre Miller who has 728 yards in receptions as well as 385 rushing yards while scoring 16 touchdowns. Running back T.J. Crawford has surpassed 1,000 yards on the ground and quarterback Jake Jarvis has several wide receivers at his disposal and has thrown for 1,207 yards, 15 touchdowns and just 3 interceptions.

Foxcroft enters the game having won 4 of their last 5 games while averaging 35 points per game. Nick Clawson has shown steady improvement at the quarterback position after taking over for Hunter Smith who suffered a season ending injury in the preseason. The Ponies lost to Old Town on week 4 by a score of 41-19, a game where the Coyotes were able to take advantage of turnovers and mistakes made by the Ponies.
