State championships in high school cheering were handed out Saturday and it was a good day for teams from the North who claimed all four titles.Orono was able to hold off Dirigo in Class C and win the first state title in cheeing in school history. The Class D title went to Central Aroostook who was able to pull off the 3-peat. Old Town finished an undefeated season by taking the Class B title for the first time in 16 years and Lewiston continued to rule Class A by edging Bangor to win their 5th state title in the last 6 years.
