Lexi Thibodeau of Old Town has been named First National Bank Athlete of the Week after scoring 10 points in the Coyotes' 40-37 victory over the previously unbeaten Hermon Hawks on Jan. 25.

With the win, Old Town avenged a 49-34 loss to Hermon on Dec. 27 and improved to 11-4.

Thibodeau, who won with 33 percent of the vote, scored a game-high 24 points in the Coyotes' 54-49 loss to MDI on Jan. 23.

Old Town improved to 12-4 with a 67-39 win over Washington Academy on Tuesday. Thibodeau scored 18 points.

Other nominees this week included Camille Kohtala of Orono, Zach Beaton of Hermon, Cayden Spencer-Thompson of Mattanawcook and Maddy Candage of MDI.

Matt Fleming of Bangor, Orono's Connor Robertson, Bangor's Nick Boudreau, Rowan Andrews of Bangor and David Gross of Bucksport have also earned Athlete of the Week honors during the 2018-19 winter sports season.
