Old Town's McKenna Smith is one of seven finalists for the Miss Maine Softball Award, the state's top high school senior player in the eyes of the Maine Softball Coaches Association.

Smith led the Coyotes to the semi-finals in Class B North Region. She was named PVC Player and Pitcher of the Year. Smith went 10-1 with a 0.68 ERA, 151 strikeouts in 72 innings and batted .491 with 21 RBI.

The winner will be announced June 28th at the annual Senior Softball All Star Games to be held at Colby College in Waterville.
