Olson Leads Hampden Over Lawrence
Friday night under the lights saw the Hampden Broncos get their fourth win of the season beating Lawrence 21-13. Isiah Olson ran for 123 yards and two third quarter touchdowns which broke a 7-7 halftime score. Broncos quarterback Matt Martin threw for 103 yards and a touchdown and rushed for another 118 rushed yards. Hampden's defense also had a big game with several tackles for a loss including 5 sacks and an interception.
Ethan Powers led the Bulldogs who drop to 3-2 with 69 yards rushing on 21 carries.
The 4-1 Broncos go on the road next week to play the Cony Rams.
