The NHL has told the Boston Bruins to prepare for a home game at TD Garden on Saturday January 19th to open the 48-game season after the lockout.

The opponent is expected to be the New York Rangers and the start time is expected to be 7PM, although that time could change.

The owners have approved the new CBA deal. The players are voting over a 36 hour time period that ends Saturday.

Once the players ratify the deal the league says it will immediately release a full schedule.
