A Jake Koffman free-throw with seconds left lifted the Orono Red Riots to a 52-51 win over rival Old Town Coyotes Wednesday night, setting up a Saturday showdown with Ellsworth for the Class B North crown.

Koffman was fouled with 3 seconds left on the clock and the game tied at 51. After missing his first free throw, he made his second, giving the Red Riots a one-point lead.

The No. 1 seed Coyotes launched a shot as time expired, but it didn't find the bottom of the net.

No. 4 Orono was led by junior guard Nate Desisto with 11 points. Kameron Hiines had 8 and Imao Woldring had 7 points in the win. Koffman also had 7, the last of which lifted his team to victory.

Kaleb Gifford led the Coyotes with 13 points. Ryan Hoogterp had 10 points and Andre Miller added 8.
