Orono Girls Win 4th Straight Title

It was a great Saturday for the Orono high school track and field teams as they swept the class C state championships as well as the sportsmanship awards.The Orono girls continued their dominance by claiming their 4th straight title. The Red Riots were led by Lauren Stoops who won three events.

The Orono boys were able to build a lead and hold on by sweeping the relay events.

Here is a look at the top three finishers in each class.
