Orono Takes 68-46 Win Over Old Town

After having their first two games of the season postponed, the Orono girls basketball team finally got on the court and beat Old Town 68-46.Jessica Witham's Red Riots had 10 players in the scoring column led by Sydney Robertson who scored 12 of her 16 points in the second half. Junior point guard Hannah Clement hit three shots beyond the arch and finished with 13 points while Katie Syper had 12.

Orono led by just 6 at the half but hit four of the teams six three pointers in the third quarter while outscoring Old Town 20-9.

The 0-2 Coyotes were led by Brooke Mishou's 18 points and Lauren Martin's 12.
