The Ticket has a Class B North Region clash in the boys' basketball ranks as Orono travels to face Hermon tonight at 7 p.m.

Both teams enter the contest with a 1-0 record after the Riots up-ended the Houlton side 61-48 on the road, and Hermon bested Presque Isle 64-48 up north on Saturday.

Orono is looking to get over the hump and win a regional title after coming up just short in the past two years prior, losing in the title game in both Class C and B in respective seasons.  The Red Riots return four starters from a year ago and are viewed as one of the top teams in the league.

Hermon is looking to surprise teams after falling in the prelims a year ago to MDI.  The Hawks are led by Glenburn freshman Isaac Varney who led all scorers with 17 points in the game versus Presque Isle over the weekend.

Class B will start to shape up a little bit more tonight when the Red Riots face-off against the Hawks from Hermon.  Bryan Stackpole and the BDN's Ernie Clark have the call on Sports Radio 92.9 The Ticket at 7 p.m., followed by the Boston Celtics at the San Antonio Spurs at 9 p.m.
