Ortiz Tells USA Today Dempster Was Wrong

Red Sox DH David Ortiz told USA Today that he thinks Sox pitcher Ryan Dempster was wrong to plunk A-Rod and perhaps in doing so Dempster woke up a sleeping giant.

Ortiz is quoted in the USA Today story "I don't like it. I don't think it was the right thing to do." Papi went on to say "but we don't all think alike and the guy who did it, Dempster, is a great guy."

The Sox are off today and open a series with the Dodgers Friday night.
