The Occupational Safety and Health Administration, or OSHA, is investigating an accident at the Expera Mill in Old Town that resulted in a man's death. While the man's identity hasn't been released, officials have revealed how he died.

A spokesperson for Expera Specialty Solutions says the man was a contractor and not an employee of the company. He was delivering wood chips to the mill on Tuesday when he, somehow, fell in a hopper. No one witnessed the accident so officials are unsure how he ended up in the container used for bulk materials. The man's identity is being withheld pending notification of his family.

The formerly closed mill reopened earlier this year after it was purchased by the Wisconsin-based company.
