A year ago, the Old Town-Orono Black Bears lost in overtime to Waterville in the Class B North Regional title game. The Bears will try to take the next step to a state title when they meet Presque Isle tonight in the regional final.

Old Town-Orono:  The Black Bears are the #1 seed after finishing the regular season 17-1. After a first round playoff bye, the Bears beat Hampden 7-3 in the semi-final. Jacob Dubay hat a hat trick and goalie Kohle Parker had 20 saves.

5th year coach Denis Collins has a young, speedy team and a rock solid goalie in Parker.

Presque Isle:  The Wildcats finished the regular season as the #3 seed with a 12-6 record. They beat Camden Hills 7-2 in the quarterfinal round and then beat Kennebec (Waterville-Winslow) 6-3 in the semi-final. Jake Stevens had a hat trick. Goalie Andre Daigle made 29 saves.

Coach Carl Flynn's Wildcats will be in their first regional final since 2014.
