The Portland Sea Dogs got strong pitching and an explosive offense in an 18-0 rout of New Hampshire on Saturday.Henry Owens had one of his better outings of the season going 7 scoreless innings while holding the Fisher Cats to just 4 hits and striking out 6 for his 5th win of the season.

The Dogs offense was equally impressive pounding out 16 hits in their 18 run performance. Sean Coyle had 3 hits including a homerun and 3 rbi while left fielder Peter Hissey also had three hits ad 3 rbi. Mookie Betts reached baseb5 times,hadd 2 hits, a sacrafice fly and his 21st stolen base of the season.

Portland has now won 7 straight games and 11 of their last 12.
