Senior catcher Tyler Parke hit a walk-off grand slam against the Oxford Hills Vikings in the Class A North regional final in Augusta Tuesday night, sending the Bangor Rams to the state title game for the fifth consecutive season.

Bangor's 5-1 win at Morton Field marked the team's 19th consecutive postseason win. They advance to the Class A title game at St. Joseph's College on Saturday.

The first run of the game didn't come until the top of the sixth, when Ty Leblond scored on a sacrifice fly by Cameron Slicer.

Bangor's Noah Missbrenner scored the tying run on a base hit by James Neel in the bottom of the sixth.

Parke's grand slam to right-center field came with two outs in the bottom of the seventh. He swung at a first-pitch fastball and hammered it to right-center field.

Bangor junior pitcher Zach Cowperthwaite went the distance, allowing just one run on two hits and one walk while striking out 5 in seven innings.

Oxford Hills junior Colton Carson was dominant for much of the game, striking out 14 batters in six innings. He allowed three runs (two earned) on just two hits and one walk.
