Longtime Thomas College softball coach Terry Parlin is retiring after 10 seasons at the Waterville school.

"I have really enjoyed my 10 years as a part of the Thomas community," said Parlin. "There are so many people to thank for this great experience. Our softball program is in a great place where I feel they can compete with anyone in the conference and beyond." - School Press Release

Parlin led the Terriers to their first-ever NCAA Tournament in 2017 after winning the North Atlantic Conference title. He was twice named NAC Coach of the Year. Parlin's teams went 87-45-2 in conference play.

This past spring, his Thomas College team finsihed 8-4 in conference play, 20-17 overall.

"I would like to thank Terry for all he has done for Thomas College and wish him well on his retirement," said Director of Athletics Shanda Ness. Over the years, Parlin also served in various roles, including coaching soccer and baseball, along with administrative jobs.
