The Boston Red Sox are AL East Champs! The 6-3 win over Toronto Friday night clinched the division and gives the Sox 93 wins with 7 more games left on the schedule.

The playoffs will begin on Friday October 4th!

In the clinching game, Jon Lester worked 7 innings and gave up just one run. It was his 100th career win.
