The Patriots top pass rusher, Chandler Jones, is out for a month because of a hip injury. That's according to a report in the Boston Globe. Jone was not at practice yesterday.

Jone may be having his best season as a pro - 4.5 sacks, 21 tackles, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery. He has played in 414 of the 478 defensive snaps.

He has been dealing with a shoulder injury that has kept him on the team's injury report list each week. But now this hip or hamstring injury will apparently keep him out of the lineup.

The Patriots host the Chicago Bears on Sunday, followed by a game against the Denver Broncos and then the bye week.
