Patriots Get First Win, Beat Vikings 30-7

The New England Patriots intercepted Matt Cassell four times and sacked him six times on their way to a 30-7 win.Darelle Revis, Devin McCourty, Logan Ryan, and Dominique Easley each had a pick which led to 17 Patriots points. Special teams also accounted for some scoring as Chandler Jones blocked a field goal attempt which he scooped up and raced the length of the field for a touchdown.

Tom Brady went 15-22 for 149 yards and a touchdown. The Pats rushing attack piled up 150 yards in the game with Steven Ridley totaling 101 and the teams first score.

New England will get to play its home opener next week when the Oakland Raiders make their way to Gillette Stadium.
