The New England Patriots win over the Texans comes at a price. RB Jeremy Hill has a torn ACL in his right knee and is done for the season.

That's what NFL Media's Ian Rapoport is reporting Monday afternoon.

Hill went down in the third quarter of Sunday's game. He had been on the field for 12 snaps and carried the ball four times, good for 25 yards.

He was splitting running duties with Rex Burkhead and James White.

The Patriots depth at running back includes, Burkhead, White, rookie Sony Michel (inactive on Sunday) and undrafted rookie Ralph Webb, who is on the practice squad.

NOTE: The Patriots are at Jacksonville for game two of the season Sunday at 4:25pm.
