The New England Patriots made a series of trades on the day every team must cut rosters down to 53 players. QB Jacoby Brissette was traded to Indianapolis. Former UMaine linebacker was released.

>  Patriots acquire DE Cassius Marsh from Seattle for the 5th and 7th round draft pick

>  Patriots acquire CB/Special Teams Johnson Bademosi for a 2019 6th round draft pick

Roster Cuts...

>  Among the cuts, former Westbrook HS and UMaine LB Trevor Bates (he is eligible for the practice squad), RB D.J. Foster, WR Austin Carr, WR Cody Hollilster, TE James Shaughnessy WR K.J. Maye.
