When the schedule came out this was a game that was circled by many football fans. However, tonight's game between the Patriots and Broncos will have a different look thanks to key injuries.

The Pats will go into the game without linebacker Jamie Collins and wide receivers Danny Amendola and Julien Edelman. Denver will not have the services of quarterback Peyton Manning and defensive lineman DeMarcus Ware. Despite the injuries the game is a big one for both teams as they remain two of the AfC teams that continue to battle for week one byes in the playoffs and home field advantage. New England will also try to stay undefeated as they enter the game with a 10-0 record and a 13-game win streak dating back to last season.

This will be the 50th meeting between the two teams with the Broncos holding a 28-21 lead in the all-time series. However, the Pats have dominated the series in recent years. They have played in each of the last four regular seasons with New England winning all of those games including a 43-21 victory last season. They have also played twice during that time in the postseason with each getting a win.

Denver happens to be the only team in the NFL that Pats quarterback Tom Brady has a losing record against with a mark of 5-7. Most of those losses came early in Brady's career as he has won 5 of the last 6 meetings against Denver.
