The New England Patriots played an ugly first half of football but played a great second half coming back from a 24 point deficit to beat the Broncos in overtime 34-31.The Pats trailed 24-0 at halftime but looked like a new team coming out of the locker room. Tom Brady threw three touchdown passes and Brandon Bolden ran for another to complete the comeback and take a lead. Peyton Manning then led a drive to tie the game with 4:31 to play which forced overtime.

New England won the coin toss but elected to kick and take the wind. Neither team could generate any offense and when the Pats punted late in OT the ball hit a Broncos player and was recovered by New England setting up Stephen Gostowski's game winning 31 yard field goal.
