Pats Must Cut Two More Today

The NFL deadline for teams to reduce their rosters to 75 players is 4pm today and the Patriots got the process started a day early.On Monday the team cut five players including linebacker Niko Koutouvides, a nine year veteran who spent the last two seasons with New England. Also cut was first-year WR Kamar Aiken, rookie CB Brandon Jones, second-year CB LeQuan Lewis and rookie LS Mike Zupancic.The team also placed four other players on disabled list or injured reserve.

The roster currently stands at 77 players which means they must cut two more today. The 53 man roster must be set by Sunday.
