The off-season signings for the New England Patriots continued on Wednesday morning as the team added some defensive help from an AFC East rival.


Harris has played in 10 NFL seasons and logged 708 total tackles.  Last season for the Jets, Harris started in 15 games, with 62 tackles and two pass deflections.  He will join a linebacker core that also includes Dont'a Hightower, Kyle Van Noy, Rob Ninkovich, Jonathan Freeny, Shea McClellin, among others.

He joins Brandin Cooks, Stephon Gilmore, Kony Early, Mike Gilislee, Rex Burkhead, and Dwayne Allen as off-season addtions to the team.  New England will kick things off on the 2017 season with a home game versus Kansas City Chiefs on September 7th.
