Pats Sign Rookie QB Garoppolo

The New England Patriots have signed QB Jimmy Garoppolo. The Pats drafted the Eastern Illinois QB in the 2nd round(#62 overall) last month. Terms not announced.

The 6-2 226-pound Garoppolo has been at the team OTA's in Foxboro.

He started 45 games at Eastern Illinois and won the Walter Payton Award for top player in the FBS ranks.
