The New England Patriots will open the 2017 NFL season by hosting the Kansas City Chiefs at Gillette Stadium.

invited NFL commissioner Roger Goodell to attend the contest, which kicks off the 2017 NFL slate of games.  The game will be a rematch of the Divisional Round match-up in 2015 that the Pats won 27-20.

In addition to the Chiefs coming to Foxborough, the Jets, Bills, Dolphins, Texans, Chargers, Falcons, and Panthers will be playing New England this upcoming season. The Pats will also be playing in five primetime match-ups and have a rematch of Super Bowl 51 scheduled for Week 7.
