Pats To Open ’17 Season Versus Chiefs
The New England Patriots will open the 2017 NFL season by hosting the Kansas City Chiefs at Gillette Stadium.
The contest will be set for Thursday night on September 7th as the team will also honor the squad that won Super Bowl 51 with another banner unfurling at the stadium. Patriots’ owner Robert Kraft also invited NFL commissioner Roger Goodell to attend the contest, which kicks off the 2017 NFL slate of games. The game will be a rematch of the Divisional Round match-up in 2015 that the Pats won 27-20.
