After a full day of reports about the deflategate hearing in New York, the focus on the New England Patriots will switch to the field as the Pats take on Green Bay in their first preseason game. For the first time in months closer attention will be paid to how this years team will perform as they try to defend their Super Bowl championship.

The major question entering the game is how much quarterback Tom Brady will play, if at all. Several reports out of Boston indicate that Brady will not take any snaps which leaves the game in the hands of second year QB Jimmy Garoppolo and Ryan Lindley who just signed with the team on Monday.

Another area of concern is the defense which lost Vince Wilfork form the line and more importantly the departures of defensive backs Darelle Revis, Brandon Browner and Kyle Arrington. Super Bowl hero Malcom Butler has had an impressive camp so but is surrounded by several unknown players with not much starting experience.

Kick-off is at 7:30 from Gillette Stadium with liver coverage starting at 4:30 on Sports Radio 92.9 The Ticket.
