The Bangor Rams snapped a four game losing streak and rallied from a 10-point first half deficit to best the Brewer Witches 55-45 at Red Barry Gymnasium.

George Payne of the Rams scored 10 points in the final quarter to help seal the victory, finishing with 13 overall.  Damien Vance led all scorers with 19 points with four three-pointers and went 5-5 from the free throw line.

Brewer was led Michael Bailey who had 13 points, while Brandon Glidden had six.  Tyler Hafford and Kobe Rogerson also chipped in five points a piece.

The Witches jumped out to an early lead in the first and took the 15-7 advantage after eight minutes.  The Rams would erase a six point deficit at the half to outscore Brewer 42-26 in the final two quarters.

With the win Bangor moves to 2-5 on the season and will host Portland on Saturday afternoon.  The Witches drop to 3-5 and will play Hampden Academy at home Friday night.  The Hampden/Brewer match-up will be heard on the Ticket, starting with the girls' match-up at 6 p.m.
