Peterson Turns Himself In To Police [VIDEO]

Minnesota Vikings star Adrian Peterson returned to Texas in the middle of the night, turned himself in to authorities, was booked on charges of reckless or negligent child abuse and then released.

The charges stem from a an incident back in May with his 4-year-old son. A spanking using a "switch" led to cuts and bruises on the child. A grand jury in Texas has indicted Peterson.

The Vikings have de-activated him for tomorrow's game against the Patriots.
