Portland Pirates v Bridgeport Sound TigersAfter a long and complicated process, the Portland Pirates and the Cumberland County Civic Center have agreed on a new lease. The teams current lease runs out this spring and the two sides have been negotiating on a new deal which has been finalized. The new agreement is a five year deal which is the longest such arrangement since the team has called the CCCC home.

The team will now pay a fixed rate of $1,000 per game, receive 57.5 percent of concession revenues, and pay the cost of paying some of the game day workers.

The Civic Center is currently in the process of undergoing a $34 million dollar renovation which will force the Pirates to play games at the Lewiston Colisee until January when the construction is complete.
