Colby College is searching for a new baseball coach. Dale Plummer has resigned from the position after 12 seasons.

Plummer played his college ball at UMaine and pitched for two Black Bears that made it to the College World Series (1984, 1986).

He was drafted by the New York Mets and spent time in both the Mets and the Red Sox minor leagues.

The Mules finished 7-25 (1-11 NESCAC) this past spring. Colby has gone 161-229 over the past 12 seasons.

The search for a new head coach is underway.
