The Boston Red Sox have not been good this season but one thing they are good at is finding ways to lose games. The latest example is an 8-4 loss to the Twins. After grabbing a 4-0 lead the twins battled back to tie the game in the 6th inning. In the top of the 9th they would win the game by scoring 4 runs thanks to poor pitching and defense. Minnesota took the lead when Pablo Sandoval failed to catch a ball thrown by Blake Swihart allowing Brian Dozier to cross the plate. The error was the second of the game for the Panda.

Koji Uehara took the loss after giving up 4 runs on 3 hits. Only 2 of the runs were earned and 2 of the runs scored when Craig Breslow relieved Uehara and gave up a 2-run double.

Boston will new get set to host the Oakland A's for a weekend series at Fenway. Oakland is coming off a three game sweep of the Detroit Tigers.
