In a season that has been complete frustration for Rick Porcello, the Red Sox pitcher has now landed on the DL for what the team is calling a triceps injury. The move allows for the call-up of Henry Owens from Pawtucket who will make his Major League debut Tuesday when the Sox open a three game series in New York against the Yankees.

Owens has a 3-8 record for the Pawsox with a 3.16 ERA. He struggled with control at the start of the season but over his last 10 starts has 54 strikeouts and just 10 walks.

Steven Wright will pitch Wednesday's game and Eduardo Rodriguez the series finale on Thursday.
