Portland Vs Deering In 102nd Game

For the 102nd time it's Portland HS vs Deering HS on Thanksgiving Day. The last high school football game of the year is a big tradition in Portland and is played at Fitzpatrick Stadium.

This year Portland is considered the heavy favorite - the Bulldogs finished 8-2 and lost to Cheverus in the Eastern Maine championship game.

Deering struggled this year with a 1-7 record.

When the teams played in their regular season game back in September Portland won 45-19.

If the Bulldogs do win today it would break a 3-game winning streak by Deering. The Rams also have won 10 of the last 11.
