With Kyrie Irving and Gordon Hayward back in the fold and with almost every player back from the team that was one win away from the NBA Finals a year ago, the Boston Celtics begin the long journey to a championship tonight.

And leave it to the NBA to schedule the Philadelphia 76ers as the opening game opponent at Boston Garden.

Tip time tonight is 8pm and Hayward admits he is a little nervous about the first game that counts. And why not, coming off that major injury on opening night a year ago. Plus he's been dealing with some back soreness.

Stevens says Hayward would likely play around 25 minutes for the first few games.
