Preview: #2 John Bapst vs #3 Brewer Tonight

Two of the top three teams in Eastern Maine class B hockey face off when #2 John Bapst faces #2 Brewer tonight here on the Ticket.

Brewer took the first game 5-3 in what was the second game of the season. Both teams enter the game with records of 8-3 and are separated by just four heal points.

The most significant win for John Bapst came on January 12 when they beat first place Messalonskee 5-4 in overtime. The Crusaders are averaging four goals per game.

It has been a few years since Brewer has found themselves in third place but the Witches are still playing great hockey with their only losses coming to first place Bangor in class A,  first place Messalonskee in class B and Hampden. Tonight's game is on Brewers home ice where they are 4-1 this season.
