Boston Celtics To Host Lakers Tonight at the Garden
The Los Angeles Lakers make their only trip of the season to the Boston Garden tonight for a game against the Celtics.Both teams should come in with some confidence thanks to recent success on the floor. Boston has won five straight after knocking off the Raptors last night, a game in which six Celtics scored in double figures.
The Lakers have won six of their last seven games but will be without Pau Gasol who suffered a foot injury Tuesday that will keep him out of the lineup for four-to-six weeks.
The Lakers are averaging 102 points per game compared to the Celtics 96. However, the Celtics only allow their opponents to score an average of 96 points per game while the Lakers allow 101.
