Price, Eagles Set For Home Opener

After dropping their first game of the season and having a bye on week 2, the Husson football team is set for the home opener today.The Eagles take on Alfred State College out of New York with a 12 noon kickoff that you'll hear live on Sports Radio 92.9 The Ticket, 929theticket.com, and on our free mobile app from Radio Pup.

Husson is 2-0 all-time against the Pioneers after winning 42-14 in 2003 and 13-0 last season.

The Eagles offense will feature a more balanced attack this season with Joe Seccareccia back for his second season running the show from the quarterback spot. Seniors Ryan Stroud and Shabasche McIntosh will be the go to guys at the wide receiver position.

The defense which was one of the best in the country a year ago returns nearly all their starters including leading tacklers Ellis Throckmorton and Stephan Dance.
