David Price had a MRI on his pitching elbow yesterday and is headed to the disabled list. He will not make his start tonight, according to ESPN.

ESPN's Buster Olney is reporting that Price is experiencing elbow tightness - the same thing that shut him down in the spring and kept him on the DL for two months.

The team is calling the Price injury 'left elbow inflammation'. The 10-day DL clock is retroactive to Tuesday, meaning Price would not be able to pitch unti August 4th.

Rick Porcello will start tonight against the KC Royals.

In 11 starts, Price is 5-3 with a 3.82 ERA.
