David Price was dominant in the series finale as the Red Sox beat Cleveland 7-0 this afternoon. Make it 90 wins for the Sox.

Price pitched shutout ball for eight innings. He gave up three hits, did not walk anyone and struck out seven. Price needed to throw only 101 pitches an picks up his 14th win (14-6). His ERA in six starts since the All Star game is 1.09.

The game was scoreless until the 5th inning when the Sox scored six times. Blake Swihart, in for the injured Mitch Moreland, stroked a two-run hit to start the rally. Xander Bogaerts and Eduardo Nunez added two-run hits. It was 6-0 Sox after five innings.

J.D. Martinez would later get a RBI hit. He know has a MLB-best 109.

The Sox take their 90-39 record to Tampa Bay for a weekend series starting Friday night.
